Property Management

The Property team exists to oversee the maintenance of the church facilities and care of church property including the buildings, grounds, furnishings and safety. 

We strive to ensure a comfortable and safe environment for all church ministries by monitoring heating and cooling systems and routinely checking the building and grounds for needed maintenance and repairs.  The Property Committee organizes volunteer schedules to preserve church grounds which include regular mowing and edging, watering trees and shrubs and picking up leaves and trash.  Twice a year, generally in the spring and the fall, a church workday is planned, soliciting the help of the congregation. 
The Ministry of the Property Committee includes routine monitoring of:

  • Lighting
  • Pest Control
  • Ventilation
  • Water Leaks
  • Electrical Equipment
  • Roofing
  • Plumbing
  • Custodial Services
  • Purchase of supplies
  • Fire Extinguishers
The Property Committee is always looking for additional mowers and help with building maintenance.

Volunteers needed: The Property Committee is recruting a few energic members to join our Watering Team. The job description is simple: just water the plants & shrubs once a week. There are three members on the team now, so the time committment is minual. Please contact our Property Ministry Chairperson if you would like to serve.

A special thank you to Mike Rogers with Summit Electric Supply for donating the new ceiling lights in the offices, classrooms, hallways and most recently the parking lot at Grace.
